Usage

This money is yours to cover the overhead of education tuition, textbooks, design software, or even rent. We don’t micromanage how you spend it; we just want to help you keep the lights on while you study.

Who Can Apply?

We are looking for students who are serious about their future. To qualify, you must meet these three checks:

  • Age: Must be 18 years or older.
  • Status: Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa.
  • Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in (or accepted to) a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited U.S. university, college, or trade school.

Local Preference Note: While this is a national program, special preference is given to students currently enrolled in San Diego County institutions, including San Diego State University (SDSU), UC San Diego (UCSD), and the University of San Diego (USD).

Here are the rules of the road. By applying, you agree to the following:

Eligibility Check:

You must be enrolled in an accredited institution at the time of the application. We will check.

Honesty Policy:

All information must be accurate. If you fake your enrollment status, you are disqualified.

Original Work Only:

Your essay must be written by you. If we detect AI-generated content or plagiarism, your application goes straight to the scrap bin.

Publicity:

By applying, you grant us permission to use your name and essay (or quotes from it) to announce the winner on our website.

Final Decision:

Our team will select the winner based on the quality and thoughtfulness of the essay. Our decision is final.

One Shot:

Only one application per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

No Fees:

We will never ask you for money to apply.

Privacy:

Your personal data is used solely to administer this scholarship. We do not sell student data to third parties.

Selection Process

Once the deadline passes on October 1st, 2026, our team will review the submissions.

Notification:
The winner will be contacted via email.
Response Time:
You have seven (7) days to respond and claim the award. If we don’t hear back, we move to the runner-up.
